Alex and I are getting ready to go to CT, I can't wait. I hope we get some snow while we are there even if its just a dusting. I can't wait to see my sister and laugh till our faces hurt. No matter how long you are away, Home will always make you long to be there with your family and friends. The first place we will go to eat is at West End Pizza man I miss that pizza, I would eat that at least once a week when I lived there. I never had to use my name they all new my voice and what I would order, sometimes I would change it just to throw them off.

Missing fall in New England

As I was walking Bear today ( Bear is the dog I walk as a job ) I realized just how much I miss fall in New England. I really miss the mountains with the foliage, apple picking hiking with my friends and most of all the cool crisp air. I miss just stopping by my sister Vicki's house for a chat and a laugh. Fall is a little strange here in Texas the leave just turn brown, no real pop of colour and then just fall to the ground, the days are about 75 and nights about 50 just really weird to me. God I miss fall in New England !!!!!!!!

Swine Flu

So does anyone else think its strange that anyone without insurance can get the shot for Swine Flu, while people who have insurance can't ? Not that I want this shot, I just find that very interesting. Maybe we all should just cancel our health insurance, as it seem you get service first if you don't have any insurance these days. Just something to think about today.

Pets ( Don't let them hear you call them that though )

Good morning, the day begins the sun may or may not come out today that's ok with me and the girls. The girls are asleep in the bed and could care less, really this happens everyday not just on cloudy days. Later after they get up it will be out to their yard to see whats going on, and then for a walk to read the neighborhood yard for the latest news. Oh the luv of our pets, if you don't have one run out and get one.

More technology glitches

Alex and I were out to dinner the other night and in the middle of dinner SOMEONE received a phone call and to my surprise, that person answered the call and continued to talk. I was shocked as he wasn't saving a life or anything just chatting ! Am I just a BITCH or is it rude? As a human race I think we are becoming more self absorbed, the more technologies we have. Don't get me wrong I love technology but it does have its place, RIGHT?

Cell phone etiquette ????

Are you really that important that you need to be on the phone while you are trying to order and pay for your coffee?? Most likely NOT, so hang it up and and don't be RUDE, that is a person behind that counter and they deserve the respect to take your order all at once not between huh, what, hang on, yes that was a venti, really he said what ? yes non-fat, can you meet me for a drink, yes extra hot. Girl I'm at the Starbucks ya getting a coffee, that is non fat right, yes they are making it right now, uggh I need coffee. Does this sound familiar? Well, I'm here to tell you it's RUDE.
